  • 2010 Innovator of the Year and Co-Winner of Model of the Year. UMC is named Innovator of the Year and its 3D model presentation was selected as Model of the Year for 2010 by Technical Sales International (TSI). The Innovator of the Year award is given to the company who has made the most progress and has the most creativity in utilizing BIM software, and the Model of the year is presented to the company who produces the best 3D model.

  • Northwest Construction Best of 2004 Award:
    The Sea-Tac South Terminal Expansion Project was awarded Best Mechanical Project.
  • Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) STAR Rating:
    The STAR status is the highest level of achievement within the VPP program recognizing safety excellence. UMC was a first-tier contractor acutely involved with the first construction project in Washington State to be awarded the prestigious VPP STAR status at the Cedar River Water Treatment Facility.
